No adjustments required, the Vault does not have Wi-Fi as it’s a server designed to not only playback music locally but to multiple Bluesound devices.

I'm following the install instructions.  It says to look for the hotspot in the wifi settings of my phone.  I can connect via Bluetooth, but that's not what the instructions say on my phone, nor does it get me past the opening setup screen on the app itself.  I can't click the home button, settings...nothing.  My phone does not know I have a Vault.

    Any thoughts?

The App should find and connect to any players connected by Ethernet.

If you have a Ethernet wired computer (PC / Mac) you could try the desktop App to see if the Vault can be seen. It’s possible settings on your Router may need to be changed, also if using iOS… In the iOS Settings, ensure under Apps that Local Network support is enabled for the BluOS App.

Thanks for those ideas.  But I think it must be router settings, then, because the desktop app is having no luck, and Local Network is enabled on the phone...

Do try power-cycling your router and see if that help along with another Ethernet cable. If you know how to access your routers main pages you may even be able to check to see if the Vault is connected.

Beyond that email Bluesound (support@bluesound.com ) detailing how your network is configured and its a new install.

Seppi:  The new cable was the key.  Thanks a lot!
