ethernet
AnsweredHi
The moment I connect the Node 2i to ethernet, I am unable to connect to the player via the BluOS app, both on iOS and MacOS. I have tried factory resetting the Node 2i but that didn't do anything. Disconnecting the ethernet cable makes the Node 2i reappear in the apps, and reconnecting makes it disappear again.
I'm supposed to be able to control the Node 2i via the app even when it is connected to ethernet, right?

Check your router settings:
- Multicast (mDNS) Enabled - Required for Bluesound Player Discovery
- Dual Banding Disabled - Connect everything on 2.4 GHz band (if you are not using Ethernet cable for your Bluesound players)
- QoS Disabled - Will cause certain traffic to be prioritized and potentially cause unfavorable traffic between your players and app
- DHCP Server Enabled - Required to assign IP Address to each Bluesound Player
- IGMP Snooping Enabled - To prevent Multicast traffic from being seen as malicious traffic
