    My multiple request are focused to extend product capabilities, and some of them whether are technically possible, maybe will increase sales also..

    At least being able to create a 4.1 system using the NODE + 2x PULSE FLEX 2i would be very much appreciated.

    This is available today in the POWERNODE - it is not available in the NODE for a number of technical reasons including timing delays that the NODE may have with the external amplifier you may have it connected to which cannot be controlled within BluOS.

    Mh... but a power amp shouldn't have timing delays, should it? Neither should integrated amps? Or, like, any other I can think of? But even if so, there are delay functions in the POWERNODE, couldn't those be extended to work on such edge cases too? Or just give out a warning that "hey, it should work, but it could introduce delays. You've been warned." The only thing I could imagine is using a DAC that does some additional processing perhaps?

    It's a shame, because while I love the functionality of the POWERNODE (including the surround stuff), it just doesn't gel all that well with my speakers. For my uses, the FLEX 2i are just fine doing rear duty, so I would like to keep that. The POWERNODE doesn't allow me to use an external amp though, I would have to upgrade to a better, more expensive unit with a better amp. But will the M10 v2 satisfy me? If not, I would have to use an external amp, which seems wasteful. The Purifi module is pretty good, but that would mean the M33... which does not do surround... and is quite expensive).

    So the solution for me would be to drop Bluesound completely and go with a cheap AVR to power some random rear speakers, live with the cable mess, not having nearly as good streaming capabilities (powered by a Raspberry Pi...).

    Personally I think drawbacks introduced by implementing the functionality in the NODE are fine, as long as buyers are informed before purchase. Then it is up to them.
