Volume / sound quality Node connected to amp

Recently bought Node. Node is connected to integrated amp via coaxial cables into CD input. Volume appears low. Need to turn up amp volume halfway to get decent volume level (Node volume is also at 50%). Seems as if the Node needs something like a phone amp. Connection issue or other thoughts on how to improve overall sound quality? Thanks.

  Hi Rene

  Turn down your amp to 0. Once you have confirmed the volume is 0 (all the way down not 0db), in the BluOS App under Settings, Audio, set the volume of the NODE to FIXED. This will set the NODE audio output to 100% max volume. Use the amplifier volume controls to set to a comfortable listening level.
