Powernode 3 - Learning Infrared Remote troubleshooting

Hi,

I recently bought a Powernode 3 and very happy with the system. One thing is bothering me, there is no way to learn IR signals. I've checked all channels, several remote controls. Nothing happens. The Player runs the latest software (checked via the help option via the controller app)

Does this only work with an IR extender connected to the Powernode?

How can I best troubleshoot this?

  Hi, it can be found in the player settings of the controller. There is a section "IR remote" and there you can use "IR learning" for connecting your own remote control to the powernode.

  Thanks, I understand the procedure. However, using two different IR remote's the system simply doesn't pick up the signal I want it to learn. So this means I probably have a failty IR reader in my player?
