Music library in alphabetical order
Hi Guys and Girls,
I have the blue sound app on my iPhone, but I don't know how to get the tittles on alphabetical order (Like Deezer). Can somebody tell me how I can fix this problem. How to get my library in alphabetical order by song tittles or Artist.

Go to your Library, select Albums and push the 3 lines on the right of the search box. You can then select how the albums will be sorted.
I could not a way of sorting the library other than alphabetically when selecting other tabs as Songs, Artist, … If you want to sort alphabetically within an Album, I guess you will have to rename your files, but you will not be able to sort them differently without putting back track numbers.
Anyway, I tend to listen by album and search for titles should I wish to listen to a something track. I do not work with playlists either as I find it hard to manage these with the risk of adding items more than once and there is no option to change the order of play or removing titles once the playlist has been set up. Managing the playlist outside the app and importing appears a bit cumbersome to me.

Hi Abe,
I think you are trying to play your apple music library from i-phone as you would in apple’s app, but that is not the purpose of the bluesound app.
If you want to play your own music, you have to set up a network file service either on PC or NAS. You cannot access your apple’s music library directly. You can use music services or your own music located on a network share, but not your music library on iphone. Blusesound app is not a music « player »
The philosophy is slightly different from other apps. I explain as I understand it. In fact your bluesound devices connect to a network to play music. You use the app only to transmit commands to these devices, not to play music to them. This is very nice as you, or anyone else allowed to do so, can use any i-device with app installed to make a selection, stop, reorder, change volume, etc. It is not the music on your i-device that is being played, the player is independent from your i-device.
Playing music from apple’s music to a bluetooth speaker for example will play only as long as your device is available and can only receive commands from the i-device the music has been initiated from. With bluesound devices being independent you can close the app once you have made your selections/settings, your i-phone is not needed any more. Another i-device with app and permission can see and interfere with the selection and settings at any time. The channel is between your bluesound device and your network, the app a tool to transmit commands.I do have all my music on a server which has been added in Settings/Music Library. I am able to select Library and see my music, which is physically located on the server not on my i-device.
As an emergency feature and for car use, I have my whole Library on i-phone and i-pad too, so I could eventually play apple’s music through airplay/bluetooth to devices as set up in bluesound (I can see players as grouped by bluesound), but then I would need to stay on apple’s music to select the albums/tracks. There would be a closed channel between my i-device and the bluesound device, the music being physically transmitted from i-device to speakers. Playlist can then not be stopped or modified other than by my music app.
In short, with bluesound the music is not playing from your app, it is your bluesound device that plays the music from a network be it local or some music service.
