AV Mode/Lip Sync Delay Adjustment Level
AnsweredThis pertains to BluOS controlled NAD hardware. In my instance a NAD C658.
Can you please fix Lip-Sync Delay by expanding the adjustability range? Why does it start at 50ms? Why not 0ms+? Currently, when AV Mode is set to 'OFF' there is no delay, so 0ms. When set to 'ON', however, you provide adjustability between 50ms and 150ms in 10ms steps. In my particular circumstance 50ms (the lowest step of adjustability) is too much. I likely need 30ms or 40ms which is not currently possible.

Hi Jason
BluOS requires a minimum delay of 50ms for synchronisation of players for multiroom playback. We cannot go below that thresh-hold.
The NAD C658 does feature Analogue ByPass but does not feature Home Theatre Bypass. Sorry...

Tony. Can you clarify your statement? Why could you not go below a 50ms threshold? If it’s user adjustable… also, to be clear, I’m actually trying to do exactly what you state and synchronize multi room audio but using a third party streamer connected via Optical. At the lowest threshold of 50ms I’m about half a drumbeat out of sync.
