Ensure your Windows Laptop is on the same network sub-net as your Bluesound Player. Also, check any windows firewalls are not preventing local network connectivity.
Reboot your laptop and try again. If problems persist, on your phone, please select Help, Send Support Request so we can get some information from the Player event log and our Support Crew will reach out to you.

Hello and thank you for the answer.
I'd like to try what you suggested. But now all of a sudden my laptop connects perfectly. I let it look for the Node for a while, and it suddenly connected. And it works perfectly. I was able to add custom urls to Tune-in and such. But now that my laptop is connected through wifi, my iPhone cannot connect through the app any longer. As if the Node only accepts connection from one device at a time exclusively. And this is with the Bluos app. My phone can still see the Node in Spotify connect, but not through Apple AirPlay or the Bluos app... any help is much appreciated...

Something in your router is preventing this, likely multicast is not enabled on it. Please contact The Support Crew via the method above and they will provide more detailed 1:1 troubleshooting unique to your environment.
