I want to move my CD transport from my Audiolab preamp internal DAC (ESS ES9018Q2M) to my Bluesound Node Icon internal DAC (ESS ES9039Q2M X2). If I connect to the Toslink (in) on the Node Icon, will it utilize the dual internal DACS?

  Hi Kevin,

  Yes. Connecting your CD transport to the NODE ICON’s optical input will allow you to use its dual ESS ES9039Q2M DACs.
