Powernode N331 - 3.1 audio streaming

When playing movies from streaming services like D+, HBO, or Netflix in 3.1, the sound is quite quiet. I’ve tried all the settings, but to no avail; when I turn off the center speaker, everything works fine. When I watch a movie on an external Zidoo player from a 3.1 file, the sound is also normal. What could be causing this?
