block deletion of songs from a playlist

New to the Node, so mistakenly added a lot of songs to wrong BluOS controller playlists. How do I select and delete not just one song but a group?

I had looked at this collection of articles but did not find an answer to my question, and still don't. If a real answer exists somewhere is the list of articles, I'd appreciate if you would direct me to the right one. In most other applications you can shift-click on the first and last items in a list and all items in between will be selected as well. Usually you can also CTRL-click to select non-contiguous items. That's what I want to do, first select a bunch of tracks and then delete. I don't see a way to do that. All that seems to be available is to delete one by one, which is incredibly tedious. I can add a bunch at the same time but not delete?

Since I posted the other day I kept looking and came across an item (maybe a forum thread, can't remember) from four years ago asking about this same functionality. Doesn't look like this was ever addressed.
