    Hi LoRep

Yes chassis sources on the NAD C399 will be able to be shared with other BluOS Players such as say a NODE 2i in the other room but they will not be sources available in the other room.

Like existing BluOS Players an external device connected to the NAD C399, such as a turntable, can be grouped to the NODE 2i in the next room, but the C399 must be in the group as the primary player. You cannot play the turntable on just the NODE 2i.

    Hi Tony

Thats actually great news! This makes me hope that some day a dolby surround setup with two Flex 2i in the back could be possible.

Thanks, of course grouping will be required.

Further elaborating in this, is this valid only for MDC2 modules or also for MDC?

    Only for MDC2.

MDC2 or MDC Generation 2 design is your MDC card is no longer a source, but a communication transceiver allowing for the chassis to send signal and processing up to the MDC. This was a previous limitation of the older architecture. MDC2 chassis and modules are not backwards compatible with older MDC chassis and modules.

    Thank you Tony, crystal clear.

What about M33? The BluOS module embedded acts as MDC or MDC2?

The NAD M33 features MDC and was the last product to do so. MDC2 was introduced in the C399
