    Hi Thomas

The LED is indicating your NODE is rebooting - please select Help, Send Support Request in the BluOS App so our Support Crew may take a closer look.

Also, I will occasionally get an "Audio Output Error" message.  I have tried streaming from bluetooth instead of the app and multiple streaming services all with the same problem.

Pretty much exact same issue here but with Hegel H95. Sorry I can’t help but have lodged a support ticket and will report back when I get a response. Good luck!

AJ - I have lodged a support ticket as well and will report back with what I hear.  Hoping it's a quick fix and not something that is going to take a major firmware update to correct.  Nice choice on the Hegel, they make some great stuff.

Same issue here. Node connected to Benchmark DAC 3 does not have any output. It identifies the Benchmark DAC 3 HGC as a Benchmark DAC 2 and I get nothing coming out of it. Connected the same node to a Ayre Codex DAC and it plays. I have to say that the coaxial output sounded a lot nicer in the same setup, The sound from the USB output sounds a lot brighter than the coaxial output(go figure). The Ayre is connected to a VAC Sigma 170iq connected to a Harbeth 30.2 XD...so there is nothing bright in this system.

Same issue. Works with external DAC with optical but can't get the USB to work.

Still no resolution on my end.  Very disappointing that such a popular and relatively established DAC isn't supported.

This is basically the outcome of of the support crew “taking a closer look” (in fairness it was back in May this year but nothing has changed for my compatibility with Hegel H95.)

“…from other customers requests that we have received and after investigating various DAC's, there are some that continue to encounter issues with USB Output…

In your case, it's strongly advised that you contact Hegel support directly for guidance/firmware upgrade to better support USB output.

I’m sorry I’ve lost the email but essentially Hegel’s response was that they do fully support USB. It is Bluesound that does not “better support USB”

Where does the truth sit. Dunno. It’s out there…. somewhere

Thank you all for your comments! I'll try to you use Node's coax output as you did. Optical is not an option for me since it does not support DSD.  Till now i only used Benchmark 3 with USB and so i invested in a good USB cable. In order to switch to coax i have to buy a digital cable that could double the price of the Node. Very unexpecting... it reminds me of Win95 era when driver issues were very common.

Daniel, Bluesound do not natively support DSD so you can use optical.

Same issue here. I wonder if anyone found a solution.

Can we wake this thread back up to solve this issue? Bluesound Node to DAC3 over coax works fine, and Node to RME ADI-2 DAC over USB works fine. Why doesn't Node to DAC3 over USB work?

Following the thread. Looking forward to see the issue resolved.

I have the same issue, Node recognises my Peachtree DAC/Amp however no audio output and any attempt to play automatically pauses. Optical and Coax work ok.

Just bought a new N130. Have it hooked to a Primaluna Evo 100, same issue. I’m losing my mind trying to find a decent product that just works. Coax and other outputs work perfectly

I have the same issue with a Hegel H95. USB from my computer to the Hegel works. USB from the Node does not. I've tried multiple cables, etc.  Using Coax for the time being.

Your Hegel H95 DAC USB output is for computer usage only and requires a Windows driver as suggested in your Hegel Documentation. This driver will convert to SPDIF on a Windows or Mac. Coax is in fact your best-quality sound option.
