    Hi Josh

As per Spotify's licensing model and how Spotify Connect works, you will need 4 independent Spotify User Accounts. According to Spotify - if these are all part of a family account, that's ok.

I have the same problem with Qobuz. I don't understand why we can't have qobuz1 and qobuz2 or similar with spotify because each has its own credentials. If there is work around I let us know.

    Hi Tim

Qobuz is not an endpoint solution and is very different than Spotify. You can only use one Qobuz account at a time as we do not support profiles. You can however use Apple AirPlay if you are an iOS or MacOS user or AptX Bluetooth for Android as a workaround.

Thanks Tony for the fast response. I guess I don't quite understand. I have Qobuz listed as a streaming option in my BluOs it needs my credentials to access the Qobuz server. So if there were a second Qobuz offering in the BluOS it could have my wife's credentials as.she uses a separate Bluesound end point and tablet for the app. I don't use Spotify I was just piling on the OP question.

As a deep integration solution built into the BluOS App, you can only use one Qobuz account which is jointly shared by all your BluOS Players. You cannot add a second account and choose which account to use where.

Can we separate my bluesound players two for her and two for me? she has her own network.

You can...   these will be completely independent systems if they are not on the same sub-net. They cannot be grouped and you will have to switch networks on handheld devices to control them... so not really convenient...

Thanks again for responding. Is there a possibility that more than one favorites can be added to the software that way we don't have to commingle are musical tastes and preferences. Without sounding confrontational, its odd to sell a system that is capable to be used in different rooms with different music in each and not anticipate multiple users with different playlists and favorites and offer that option. What is the future of more multiple user profiles, is it even a project there? What are the confounding issues stopping user profiles?

Sorry to revive an old thread, but there is a workaround for this.

It only works for Qobuz or Tidal users.

If you have Roon, you can put one Qobuz account in Roon (his) and one Qobuz account in Bluesound (hers). Then when HE wants music, he can use his account in Roon to stream to any or all of the Bluesound players and when SHE wants music she can use her Qobuz account natively in Bluesound.
