Loss of Gain Control Android 3.16.5

Since the system update I am suffering from frequent random gain increases in the app, which is leading to a serious adverse impact on domestic tranquility. I'm having the same problem regardless of whether I control my NODE using tablet (Android 10) or phone (Android 11). It appears that the system tries to "reset" to a previously set higher gain level. I'm running digital out to a Topping D30Pro, then to my power amp.

Help!!  I really need to have accurate gain control available through the app.

    By gain, I assume you mean volume as there are no dynamic gain settings in BluOS. This may be due to network packet collisions on your network. Reboot your router, wait 5 minutes then reboot your player and toggle AirPlane Mode on and off on your tablet.
