Bluesound Node as a transport to Arcam SA30(or anything else)

Hi all,

I've asked this question here before but this post is not about the question today - it is about the answer!

I wanted to use the BlueOS in place of the not so good MusicLife app available with Arcam products. My main concern was how much will I have to sacrifice in terms of sound to be able to enjoy the BluOS.

Well that comparison is now done as I finally got the Node and did some testing against the integrated streamer of the Arcam using the coax connectors and the SA30's internal DAC. I can say that the quality of the sound will depend on the quality of your cables and the Node itself proved to be perfect for the job.

Any possible sound differences which I might have missed would be greatly outperformed by the best control app I've seen.

I'm just hoping that Tony and the team will surprise us with some good updates throughout the year and will make the app even better for all of us here.
