Sorting of Albums & Artists at Deezer in the BluOS-app

Hi there,

My Playlists in the Deezer-part of the BluOS app are conveniently sorted alphabetically. However, My Albums and My Artists are kind of randomly arranged; I assume something like arranged per date added by me in Deezer.

This way of sorting albums and artists is highly annoying when you want to go through my album "collection" in a relax manner and decide which album I want to listen to. Refer to the time you had a lot of CD's: these are typically firstly sorted by artist (alphabetically) and then by realease date. In the Deezer app, this is almost the case, as albums are sorted by artist first, but then also alphabetically within that section. This is not optimal, but much, much  better than the random sort in BluOS. With streaming services, a "collection" of over 500 albums is not excessive. How does BluOS expect their users to enjoy a comfortable listing experience if there is no sensible way to access this "collection"?

Can the sort be adjusted in BluOS?

A similar topic was raised in the Deezer community, but the response was "If it's in the BlueSound app, it's a question for them. They use our API but the way it works on their app is up to them"...

    Thanks for the feedback. In speaking with our Product Development team, there are still some limitations in the Deezer API we have passed along to them for feedback. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

    I agree. This renders Deezer integration almost useless. Please get in touch with Deezer to sort it out.

    Yes, I have been using Bluesound for several years now and this is truly annoying indeed. Also, I don't understand why Bluesound has not been able to solve this, over so many years. It gives me the impression that BS is not really trying to / working on solving this.

    Just new to Bluesound. Although I am very satisfied with my Powernode, I am surprised that there are no alternative sorting options with Deezer albums. Adding more sorting options shouldn't be difficult, I say as a programmer.

    Just got my node 2021 and I'm struggling with the sorting in Deezer as well. Is there any update on this issue? Sorting works fine for songs and playlists but album and artists are all over the place, making it difficult to find anything

    Idem que vous en 2023 !! C'est très décevant, peut-on au moins faire une recherche dans les albums pour trouver un compositeur ou un interprète, je n'en n'ai pas l'impression... Je pense que blue sound se fiche des clients Deezer, car ce n'est pas le cas chez qobuz par exemple

    Same as you in 2023!! It's very disappointing, can we at least do a search in the albums to find a composer or an interpreter, I don't have the impression... I think that blue sound doesn't care about Deezer customers, because this is not the case with qobuz for example
