Some issues with Spotify
I recently purchased a Bluesound Node2i (2021). Hardware-wise everything went smooth (except i cannot connect bluetooth headphones but that is another subject). The device is recognised and streams from the controller to the speakers. As a streaming service i have only Spotify now. I think I am doing something wrong for the following reasons:
Despite having read all the related tutorial material, in BluOS controller in android phone, tablet and in ipad, i am not able to:
1- see the Spotify content in BluOS app and create playlists for example. For example in my android phone the song playing in the middle (main) window has 3 vertical dots and when i click to it, it has the options add preset or open Spotify app. Likewise in the tablets swiping the song instead brings me also to Spotify connect app. In Spotify connect of course everything runs smoothly, i can create playlists, choose the Bluesound device to stream etc.
But the I thought the BluOS app would give me the same experience as Spotify connect.
2- I don't see a library option in the left menu
3- Even if try with the integrated radios such as TuneIn or Radio Paradise, the selected songs do not have the option of add playlist but only favourite or add preset options.
thanks in advance,

Spotify connect is what it is, you have to use the Spotify app.
No library option on the left; Library is for your "own" media. (NAS, USB, etc.)
TuneIn and Radio Paradise is "Radio", not "on demand" -
Thanks, I understand from your reply that whereas Tidal is fully integrated into BluOS app (you can browse everything from BluOS app instead of Tidal app) this is not the case for Spotify.
Therefore I conclude that you cannot create playlists from Spotify in BluOS app contrary what the Bluesound implies in their documents.

Spotify connect is an "endpoint", so playlist(s) will be handled in the Spotify app. The "Spotify Icon" in Music Services is only a shortcut.
Tidal has both integration and Tidal Connect.0
