Background hiss
AnsweredWe are installing Powernodes that are replacing an existing Sonos install. One of the zones has a background hiss always audible from the speakers unless the Powernode is unplugged or goes into sleep.
It's not a ground loop tone, we're trying to track down if it's a short from something else which isn't likely, however is there a way to completely turn off the signal from the Powernode, rather than just pausing it until it goes into sleep mode after 15 minutes. Documentation states the only other alternative is Vacation but that disconnects it from the network. We're looking to stop the audio signal completely from the speaker outputs when the player is paused - is there perhaps an undocumented solution?
Thank you.
