Powernode initial setup
OK I'm nearly at end of my tether with this new Powernode. If I don't get it working correctly by next Monday its going back. So I need help.
I eventually got BluOS connected to the Powernode BUT I had to used a wired Ethernet connection when the shop insist it is not required for setup or everyday use. My question is this then...initially how does my BluOS app manage to see the Powernode on initial setup when its not initially connected to network via wired connection and its not connected to WiFi as I've not configured it with password?
I have other issue as well. USB doesn't stay working, I cant see audio setting - it just says 'unavailable'.

Factory fresh during setup the Bluesound App connects to the hotspot that turns on automatically if you have not used Ethernet. You then select the WiFi SSID you use and Bingo configured!
If you wire it temporarily to your router, then in the app you can rename the POWERNODE and configure the SSID, pull out the Ethernet cable and it will then be using WiFi and the solid Blue led will show on the front.
Please explain further about what you are plugging into the USB port.

The bottom line is that this Powernode really needs a wired ethernet connection I think. All my other devices in the house are fine but even quite close to the WiFi router it only reports the reception as 'fair'
I've given up with the USB. I had to re-install the app and then it picked up the USB and it was fine....then it lost it again so another re-install. Tried a few USB sticks and same.
My next problem is the 'audio setting' ...it just says "No information available". Going to raise that as a separate issue on here.
