It's actually about 6 to 12db quieter. This is because video content is mixed very differently than two-channel audio and not a limitation of the NODE.

I'm experiencing the same behaviour with the powernode ... It's quite frustrating.
To have a setting to offset the volume per input source would be much appreciated!

Yes, it is annoying that it is not possible to adjust the gain between BluOs and HDMI Sources

Very annoying. Every time I turn the music on, if I had watched TV before, I jump off my chair. Is there a fix date yet?

Same problem here... And I have the same problem with NAD products with BluOS - T778. No possibility to adjust the Volume of HDMI Inputs and Blusound source.

Yes, please add a volume offset or separate volume limits for each source. I think most users would happily have a lower limit on streaming audio to match ARC levels.

I know it's impossible to keep everyone happy but we use the Powernode exclusively to stream music, so we would be really unhappy if there was a reduction in volume!

I don’t think you understood the request. This would be a setting to establish a different volume limit for different sources at your discretion… it wouldn’t affect the output if you only intend to use the player for music.

Thank you for clarifying. Sorry for my ignorance, I'm a bit of a novice who's learning quickly!

Its happened tp me too. It was too quiet for me even in max volume. Im very2 disapointed 😵

It's an unfortunate annoyance for me as well.

Remembering volume level per source would be one solution.

Setting volume limits per source would be another.

Is there some technical difficulty it cannot be solved on software level?

I too have the issue. If TV (via optical input) is at normal level and I switch to Spotify, the volume is insanely loud. I’d love to manually adjust an offset for different inputs. Which should be an easy to implement with software.

Same here… or at least bump up levels on hdmi input by default

Same here … please add the feature to optionally set an offset (i am on nad c3050 le).

    Hi
Is there any plan to solve this issue? To be honest, I already started to search a better streamer that has HDMI earc without low volume.

BlueSound team - I just excitedly purchased a NAD amp with BluOS card, using it for music streaming and TV (via eARC). The volume discrepancy between these 2 inputs is MASSIVE and if I forget to turn down the amp when I play music, I (and my pets) get blasted at high volume. I nearly had a heart attack the first time! Wow.

Why can't BlueSound add a way to adjust the base volume of the inputs to match them. It's a simple solution, surely?

This issue has completely taken the shine of my purchase and I am thinking of returning the entire purchase as it doesn't work properly in my opinion. This is 2024. Solving this issue can't be very hard?

Simple question please: Will you fix this issue or not? I

f not, I am returning it.

    Hello,
The Node N130 and the others that followed are good machines, but improvements remain and they are not fundamentally hardware, through software for example.
So please Bluesound Team try to solve this problem of difference in sound level between HDMI and RCA by implementing a level adjustment between the outputs, it is annoying to have to adjust the level each time you do this or that thing. Thank you for giving us feedback on the evolution of this problem, so that we can still properly enjoy our Nodes!
