Node with subwoofer out plus external dac possible

Hi there fellow Bluesounders!

As of last year, so now for about two weeks, I’m the proud owner of a Node. I use it with a XTZ power amp (Edge A2-400). I own a pair of Dynaudio Facette loudspeakers for many years now and love them. Only the lack of deeper bass made me decide for a subwoofer to be added.

This brings me to my question: is it possible to keep the sub out on the Node active when using an external dac (Topping DX7 Pro)?

Wiring: from Bluesound via usb to Topping (yes, it works), from topping to XTZ, etc. This together with sub out from Node to my active XTZ W10.16 subwoofer. Which is not working with the external dac, only when playing thru internal dac of Node.

Many thanks for any tips, tricks and help!

  Not possible to use USB and other audio outputs at the same time.
