HOW DO I DELETE INDIVIDUAL SONGS FROM PLAYLISTS USING IOS CONTROLLER

I saw an answer to this dating back 4 years which no longer works.   It said on iPad, swipe left on the song in the playlist then hit delete.    Nothing happens when you do this.    The obvious thought is once in the playlist - click the three dots which lists a few options (including "add to playlist") but there is no delete from playlist.   Any thoughts?  
A way to do this on either ipad or Windows app would be appreciated.

    Never really noticed the "play queue".    That worked - thanks!

    It's all making a bit more sense now!
