Optical input (Toslink) not working

My connections :

TV Optical --> Node 2i Toslink
Node 2i Optical --> DAC Chord Qutest Optical

• When I use the Node for streaming : perfect sound
• When I use the Node on its optical input (TV) : no sound

The optical cable of the TV works perfectly (I made the test in direct towards the DAC).
I have set the BluOS application so that the optical input is automatically detected.

I can't understand why I have no sound. It worked once this afternoon. I've listened to music again afterwards in streaming and I can't get the sound from the optical input of the Node to work again. Even when I switch the Node to the optical input manually from the application...

  Hi Nicolas, at the Node end of the optical lead you should have a red light, if this is good make sure the optical lead is fully plugged in at both the TV and Node. Have seen issues where optical lead plugs are not fully pushed in.

  Also try wiggling / moving the optical lead when the TV is playing music as they can be quite fragile. As you managed to get sound once is possible the optical lead is the issue in some way.

  Hi Seppi. Thanks for the advice, it is indeed the cable, I solved the problem with a new one.
