Pulse Flex 2i stereo pair inputs

I am using a pair of Flex 2i speakers as a stereo, which generally works fine. But it seems if I try to use the analog stereo input on the back it disables the stereo pairing. Is that the way it's supposed to work? If so it's very disappointing.

  You only need to connect to one of the speakers, using a stereo cable. It’s probably your lead that’s causing the disappointment as this does work just as long as you have a good WiFi signal or using Ethernet.
