    Hi Scott

    Simple math;

    • 2 x 80 @ 8 ohms
    • 2 x 80 x 8 = 1280
    • 1280 / 6 = 213.33333 (let's call it 210 to 220)
    • 210 or 220 / 2 = About 105 to 110 W per channel at 6 Ohms

Rest assured the Powernode will drive the MAs (and pretty much any other 6 ohm speakers) without any issures.

Thanks for the replies and the requisite math! I purchased the Monitor Audio CP-WT240LCR speakers and they work excellent with the POWERNODE as expected.

Please give me advice and recommendation.

    I bought Elac Uni-fi 2.0 ub52 speakers.

Considering the characteristics of these speakers (Nominal Impedance 6 Ω , 46 Hz – 35 kHz, 200 Hz / 2 kHz, sensitivity 85 dB @ 2,83 V /1 m), does bluesound powernode have enough power to drive speakers.

Is the Bluesound powernode suitable for driving these Elac Uni-fi 2.0 ub52 speakers.

Thank you very much. I would really appreciate any help on this matter

Do you have an existing amplifier that you are using?

Yes, I have Harman Kardon Citation (streaming) Amp

    General Specifications:

Rated Output Power (8 ohms)125W RMS per channel Rated Output Power (4 ohms)200W RMS per channel

But this amplifier turned out to be very bad, because it does not have enough power, as stated in the specification.

This is a very bad amplifier, with many problems in many aspects, from the lack of power, to the ability to stream

Whilst the POWERNODE on paper has less wattage output, the amplifier sections stem from NAD and even the little NAD C316BEE at 40w produces a much bigger sound along with good bass.

If you are after party level music and thumping bass then I would look at the Bluesound NODE or NODE ICON with suitable seperate amplifier.

Would be best to either have a trial via your dealer (ideal) or even take the speakers (bookshelf so not too much of a job) to the dealer and have a listen.
