When selecting SiriusXM via the BluOS app album art does not appear

I have a basic Node 2i connected to my network via WiFi through a fast Orbi mesh setup. I usually use an iPad Air to connect to the Node 2i.

When I select the SiriusXM service through the BluOS app, album art is not displayed. Instead, I see a generic SiriusXM splash screen.

When I use the SiriusXM app and stream via Bluetooth to the Node 2i or to my Bluetooth-enabled integrated amp I can see album art.

Is there something that I need to do to enable SiriusXM album art when streaming via BluOS?

    This can happen if Sirius is not transmitting the information from their server. If this occurs, they have asked us to have you contact them. Please see; https://support.bluos.net/hc/en-us/articles/1500006133502

    Has there been any progress in having BluOS support the SiriusXM album art?

    Your competitors such as Sonos and even GraceDigital support the album art when streaming from their hardware. I even get album art if I stream SiriusXM via AirPlay from the app on my iOS device.

    It's definitely something included in the API calls and I keep hoping to see this updated every time my NAD C 700 receives a firmware update.

    007 - I've pretty much given up that this problem ever gets resolved. SiriusXM transmits the album art from their servers when I listen via the app but they don't when streaming through the Node? And it's not like it has randomly spit out album art through the Node. I've NEVER viewed SiriusXM album art when streamed directly through the Node.

    @Tony W. - It's now been more than a year and we still do not have album art (just the channel logo) for SiriusXM streaming. This really doesn't make sense as other services including Sonos, Bose, GraceDigital, web site, and mobile applications all show album art for songs playing. The API is there and being used by your competition. When will BluOS be updated to support Album Art from SiriusXM?

    I got so tired of waiting for Blusound to do anything about this that I purchased an iFi Zen Stream (which didn't work any better). So I went back to using my iPad Air, bought an Apple camera connect kit and connected it via a USB cable to my Schiit Bifrost DAC. Now I use the SiriusXM app on the iPad and see the album art and don't feel that I'm missing out on anything sound quality-wise. I'll be selling the iFi Zen Stream and my Node 2i.

    @Tony W - Will this be fixed by Bluesound when the new BluOS is released? We really need to have SiriusXM album art transmitted, most cars support this with internet connections. Sonos supports it, Grace Digital supports it, Bose supports it on their devices with screens.

    This is part of the SiriusXM internet stream information and it really needs to be a part of your SiriusXM streaming.
