Can I automatically switch inputs?

I generally stream to my pulse 2i speakers via Roon but I would like to be able to use the speaker to respond to some home automation activities by speaking. Is it possible to provide this speaking data via the USB port on the device so that it will generally be playing the steaming content but will switch to the USB port when there is any content?

If the USB port can't do this, can anyone think of another solution?

  The USB Port does not support microphones. BluOS does support Actions on Google, Alexa Skills and since you have an Apple AirPlay Support device, you can also use Apple Home. Please see https://support.bluos.net/hc/en-us/categories/360000877974 for more details on all these options.
