TV HDMI (eARC) drops contact.
AnsweredBrand new TCL 75" TV with eARC HDMI and a top quality HD cable repeatedly and sporadically drops the sound contact. For some reaon, adjusting the TV volume seems to reconnect it. Nothing points to the TV. Other devices on HDMI are fine.
Incidentally, having to manually reconnect the HDMI via BluOS every time after listing to music is a pain (big enough to have my wife wanting to return to the crappy TV spaekers!). Why does it not auto detect? Surely TV would always trump the music streamer ?

UPDATE:
Hi Michael - in speaking with our QA Team we have further discovered that in the TCL TV, under Settings, Audio; set the audio output device to the SOUNDBAR+rather than teh default AUTO. This works on the TCL TV with Roku built-in in our QA lab. -
Hi Michael
I spoke with our QA team. TCL Brand TVs have had some reported issues with multiple HDMI devices (not just BluOS) where the TV goes to stand by and stop sending ATMOS content until you power cycle (unplug) the TV. Please make sure your TCL TV is on the latest firmware.
If problems persist after that, please select Help, Send Support Request in the BluOS App so we may investigate further.

We have a TCL Roku TV, latest software, and our audio drops when broadcasting through the PowerNode and external speakers. Volume up/down brings the audio back. In TV Audio settings we are not using "Auto" we have set the audio to the PowerNode. Need assistance. Brand new speakers, brand new Powernode as of Dec 2023
