Node 2i (2021 version)
AnsweredI bought the Node 2i 2021 version around September 2021 and was pleased with the purchase initially. After one month of using it in frustration, I was told it had a hardware problem. I was told to exchange for a new unit which i did with good support but it is still showing software glitches. I can see the player in my router management console but the not on the BluOS controller, then what makes it even worse is Tidal and Apple music can see the player and can play it.
While trying to troubleshoot the issue, from networking setting to disappearing context in the BluOS controller, the experience is telling. Being in software development and in IT for the last 28 years, my intuition is hinting to me that the controller needs some serious reengineering. The bugs are consistent giving indication that there are flaws in the codes and with no further advise is given to make the configuration changes, it is even more telling.
I hope the manufacturer will seriously look into the problems and give us consumers a fair answer. I also hope anyone who is facing similar issues should voice out so we can send a clear message for them to work on the issues. If the problem is unique to me at least I know the problem is with my own configuration and hence would appreciate better support to help me resolve it.

All of the symptoms you are describing suggest network traffic seems to be blocked or firewalled on your Network Router and not hardware or software glitches.
