NAS and Bluesound and Mac/Apple

I have two Bluesound streamers, one first generation the second 3rd.  My NAS software is being discontinued (WD) in January due to security.  The NAS is 5 years old and not upgradable. Interested in purchasing a replacement NAS that will continue to allow access to music folders for the near future, 4T one hard drive. Though open to recommendations. Am I missing something, casn recommendations be offered?

  Nothing will change regarding "local" acces for your WD. Only "remote" access will be terminated.
  As long as the disks are spinning without errors there is no need to change what you have.

  Just to confirm as I have an old WD NAS, likewise remote access is being stopped but I never had it enabled since new and works without issue with Bluesound.
