Controller can't connect, but Spotify Connect can and still able to play music
AnsweredRecently, I started having a new issue. I think it started after the latest update.
The controller (Android, but also Mac OSx and Windows) sometimes can't find the Node 2i (it happens every 2 or 3 days, I think). But Spotify Connect can still connect and play music. It is also possible to start playing music using the buttons on the device itself.
The only way to resolve the issue is to power-down the Node 2i and restart it. After that everything is normal again and the controller can connect.
Any idea?

Hi Jim,
It sounds like something in your router is limiting the lifetime traffic of Multicast (the protocol the BluOS app uses to discover the player, whereas Spotify Connect uses different protocols).
Please reach out to your ISP provider or email support@bluesound.com with the make/model of your router or modem so they may investigate.

Hmmm...just checked my router and it does n't have any settings related to that.
I do n't understand why this problem started recently. The Node 2i is very sensitive to network issues and router configurations. I never have issues with other devices, but the Node 2i is regularly haunting me with weird issues. First issues with WiFi on 5Ghz (causing the Node i to crash completely) and now this.
