how to make a preset for "play url"

I don't find a way to add a preset for a "now playing" "play url".

For some time now our national broadcast over Tunein suffers from very frequent buffer underruns, causing short dropouts. Very annoying.

When I use the "play url" function on the Node2, with a direct stream address, I no longer have these interruptions.

I guess the problem must reside in the Tunein servers or the stream they use.

I would like to save this setting as a preset, avoiding thus to have to input each time again the address of the stream.

Is there a way to achieve this?

  When you create a Custom Station in TuneIn, it saves as a TuneIn Favourite. TuneIn Favourites can be saved as Presets.

  Hello Tony,

  I was aware of this procedure but didn't trust the path over Tunein because I got about the same amount of dropouts as before with the "normal" selection of stations, even with my "direct address".

  It appears now that the station I'm interested in, has an alternate (newer) stream address.

  As far as I can see, the Node2 now uses this address correctly when I put it in the custom url line.

  Tunein itself uses the old address, hence the annoying breaks and underruns.

  So I have good hope for the future.
