Distorted sound at optical output

Hey! I get distorted sound from optical out on my bluesound 2. This came about a week ago. anyone know what happened?

  In addition to Seppi's advice, I would also test with a brand new optical cable. May be that your current cable sustained some damage

  Thanks for the suggestions. The distorted sound was also present on the analog output. I basically only use Roon but tested the BlueOS app, there was no distortion. I finally found the problem. Removed the folders from network sharing in BlueOS.
