Noise in back speakers during Surround setup

I have a N330 paired with 2x Pulse Flex 2i in a surround setup.
The N330 is using wired internet. There are sometimes hissing or popping sounds in the rear speakers.
Sometimes its there all the time, sometimes not at all.
Its audible even when playing movies. Sometimes sound even drops out entirely for less than a second at a time.
This is also the case when pairing with a Pulse Soundbar 2i.
Can you please check this, and find a fix for it?

Please ensure you have Good (Green) to Excellent (Blue) wireless signal strength to your PULSE FLEX rear speakers. Here's how to check that; www.bluesound.com/network101

I have excellent connection between the speakers. I tried setting the lip sync higher. It makes no difference. There are still small pops and crackles in both rear speakers
