I am planning to by a MDC bluos 2i-module for my new NAD C388.

Will it be possible to turn on the amplifier (in standby mode) when using Airplay 2 on my iOS devices and playing a song?

  You can do this by setting Network Standby (via the C388 front panel, not the BluOS app) to ON.
