Streaming from turntable

If I connect a turntable to an amp with a phono stage, then connect an RCA to 3.5mm cable from the pre-amp-out on the amp to the analogue-in on a 2021 Node, can I stream it across my network to another network connected Node?

Basically I want to play a turntable in the lounge and stream it to another node in the kitchen.

  Hi Rupert.
  Your "setup" will work, but if your amplifiers pre-out is variable and not fixed it will also control the gain to your Node.
  Best practice would be to get a phono preamp connected to you Node.
