Proximity sensor not working at all

Hello,
I have the Powernode since yesterday and all seems to be perfect except the proximity sensor. It doesn't work at all.
If I set the sensor to On from the app, the display turns off immediately but the only way to make it lit is to actually touch it. No kind of movement would do it.
If I turn it Off from the app, it would go back to full lit and stay like that. So basically I have to keep it lit at all times which is not a big issue for me but I was just wondering if I'm doing something wrong here?

Weird enough, yesterday I was playing with the connections to the Powernode, adding optical in and eARC after which I decided to give the proximity setting another try.
All of a sudden it started to work and is still working now. I have no idea what I did or did not do but it is fine now... go figure!
