    ....I also tried deleting all the new folders and files I put on the drive but it still fails


    After deleting, empty recycle bin

    If the above advise does not help, try power cycling the Node.

    Still no joy... then plug the USB drive back into a computer, format it and add just a few track to test again. Warning when you format the drive everything on it will be deleted.

    I tried emptying the recycle bin, doing the diagnostic reboot and then cycling power, none worked. Last step will be to format it which I want to avoid. I miss CDs..

    A USB Drive plugged into the back of your node is quick access to music but note a permanent solution
