Bluesound Powernode and turntable
AnsweredI'm looking at either the Powernode or the Nad D3045. I'm will be listening to mostly vinyl and streaming from Amazon Music and Spotify. My question is what would be a better option. I really like the Power mode, but concerned about the lack of analog inputs bypassing DAC. The D3045 is okay but doesn't offer streaming through Wifi.
Thanks

The POWERNODE does not include an analogue bypass so your analogue signal will first be digitised to 24/96 then processed using the DAC. We hope you will be pleasantly surprised by the results. You will however require a phono preamp if your turntable does not include a line out.
The NAD C658 is a passive BluOS Streamer so will require an external amplifier (such as the NAD C268) that does include a phono stage with analogue bypass but is at a higher price point than the POWERNODE.

Thank you for the reply. I went ahead with the Nad D3045, and will attach a Chromecast Audio I have lying around. Eventually I will get the Node for the streaming part.
