no sound from TV when connecting to powernode using ARC HDMI input
Answeredhave connect with HDMI cable (cable checked). No sound ever - tried turning TV off/on, tried turning auto sense off - no sound. I have a Sharp LN-75N8000 TV with ARC HDMI.

I'd first set the HDMI Digital output of your Sharp TV to PCM Stereo. The steps to do this vary with each TV, and sometimes there are multiple steps required so I'd check in with the manufacturer's support team. If you get sound on PCM Stereo, then you can set it to Dolby and should still get playback on the POWERNODE.
(I've seen a string of TVs that by default send out DTS 5.1 over eARC until explicitly told otherwise. I believe this was for passthrough reasons? Just me theorising...)

Thanks very much for this Sam, my Samsung smart Tv wasn't set to PCM. I couldn't get my NODE to play audio via eARC, works a treat now.
