Quick test, the optical lead will shine a red light at the end, does yours have any light when plugged into the NODE but not into the DAC?

EDIT are you using he Optical OUT? No adapter is required at the NODE end.

Sorry I might not be reading your question correctly.

    Hi Seppi,

I use the optical input on the Node with the 3.5mm adapter. You have you use 3.5mm adapter when using the optical input.

I use coax output to my Genelec speakers.

Thanks, does the Optical input work? Try headphones plugged into the NODE if you have any.

Just to confirm - if you swap the NODE 2i with the connections you have your new NODE N130 setup with, both coax and optical work (ie in an identical setup, the NODE 2i will play to both connections but the N130 will only play out of optical)?

Optical input -> Coax output works fine on the Node 2i, but not on the new Node.

My dealer confirmed that they can reproduce the issue as well and that there is no workaround for it. It just doesn't work. I have logged a ticket to Bluesound support but I haven't got any reply from them.

For the record, I was using a digital coax cable and getting dropouts on my Vault. I changed over to an optical out cable and now  it works fine. I am thinking the Vault output was faulty, as the coax works fine otherwise.

My TV is connected to optical in, coax out is connected to my DAC. Then I switch to optical in BluOS. Works fine. To stream again you have to select some music service in BluOS.
    I hope this will help…
