Soundbar + intermittent sound from TV connection
AnsweredI have a Soundbar + along with the sub and two Flex for home theater setup. When connected to the TV with an Apple TV (latest model) input, there is intermittent sound only, not a clear and consistent audio stream. It is very clipped The video stream is perfect. From Apple TV to Sony TV: HDMI input. From Sony TV to Soundbar +: HDMI Arc.
The sound is perfect with other soundbars - Sony and Bose, but not with Bluesound.
I usually get the same result when streaming music. Wifi is from Linksys mesh network. Signal strength at the soundbar is typically -22dBm to -24dBm.
I could use powerline ethernet at the soundbar, but I think this prevents me from setting up the other speakers (wifi only) in home theater mode.

If it is happening on both streaming and HDMI input, it may potentially be network related rather than input related; you should still be able to create a Home Theatre Group if the SB+ is connected to a powerline adapter and the FLEXs are connected via WiFi, so I would test this setup if possible to help narrow down the issue.
