NAD 2i module unreactive (no reboot via amp possible) + regular failiure of connection
Hey guys,
I'm driving a 2i module (firmware up to date) in a NAD C388. I have three regularly repeating issues that are ongoing since I have the amp and the module (over a year), and therefore for various firmware versions.
1. BluOS cannot be controlled via the amp. I can select the BluOS menu to see "service", "Info", "Reboot" and "Reset" but I cannot select any of the options. Unpowering the system for minutes, hours or even days does not cure this issue. Though, out of a sudden the problem goes away and eventually returns (right now I have it once more). However, at least the reboot is working via the BluOS apps
2. BluOS is regularly not connectable upon trying it with the Tidal App (Windows, iOS, iPadOS). Though, it works via the BluOS app (which however lacks some functions of the Tidal App, especially the possibility to play all of the "My Music" "Titles" in shuffle).
3. Especially the aforementioned issue is already there (but not only then) the playback (Tidal or AmazonMusic) on BluOS just stops out of a sudden. Then, there is no chance of getting it back. No matter if I cut the power for some minutes or do a reboot of the BluOS system, even connection can be reestablished, it will cut out after a few seconds to minutes. At the same time, AirPlay is (at least most of the time) running without any problems.
I'm always keeping the 2i's firmware up to date. The connection quality is at about -58dBm (which is however quite poor considered that the router is visible to the front of the amp's front panel). Using an AVM FritzBox 7590.
Thanks for the help.
Best,
Matthias
