how to exclude some subfolder from indexing

Hello,

I'm wondering if individual subfolders can be excluded from indexing in any way?

For example I have folder "music" on my NAS with subfolders rock, pop, jazz etc, and I want that everything under "pop" isn't indexed.

  Unfortunately not, however if you create new Music share say called “POP”and move the folders that you want to exclude into that share. This way you could add the POP share again as and when you need it.

  You could maybe do something with permissions on the NAS, but it would be a bit involved.
