I am having issues with my Airplay connection do the node 2i. I have an Apple TV on the same network and it works just fine, the node 2i does not. I am using a Huawei AX3 router.
The problem occurs on both wired and wifi connections.
the list of issues
- sometimes it all works fine
- other times the connection is interupted
- or the playback pauses or sratches
- or my IOS/OSX devices do not see the node 2i as an airplay device
- or my IOS/OSX devices do see the node 2i buy when selecting them as sound output the connection fails. and this is the most common case.
I spoke with support and got this reply:
"After speaking with our engineering team regarding your specific issue they have been able to replicate it here in our labs. Our engineering team will be looking into this further and be providing a fix for this issue in a future firmware update.
Unfortunately, we here in technical support are not provided a timeline on future development and releases so I can not say for certain when this update will become available. However, rest assured that our engineering team will be doing everything they can to resolve this issue as soon as possible."
Since it is 10 months I do have the issue I decided to file for a refund, and then suport changed their mind with this:
"Please allow me to clear this misunderstanding: your feedback regarding your player Airplay issue has been forwarded and being looked into by our QA team; however, to answer your question - we do not have enough information yet to say if this is a technical issue with the NODE or otherwise. "
I am now really confused....
