Controlling highs and lows with powernode 2i and HDMI ARC?

Hi, I'm having issues with the TV and movie sounds, where the lows are too low and the highs are too high. We're constantly fiddling with the volume. Is there a way I can control this through the iOS app? I don't see a 'late night mode' with the powernode 2i - it seems that would fix my issue but is only available for the soundbar I think. Are there other options or settings I could tweak to help bring less range to the TV and movie audio?
