Another happy customer
AnsweredI was about to do what George did. I've had a Node 2 for 4 years now, has worked flawlessly as far as I can remember, even over house moves, changes in networks etc.
As I work from home 100% I decided to upgrade my office, replaced a monoprice tube amp from a Mac mini with a Powernode 2, bought ex-display from 2001AudioVideo. Had a couple of marks on in, but full warranty and just over half the cost of a new 2i Powernode (I couldn't justify buying a brand new one for there).
I've done the multiroom thing before with multiple Chromecast Audios, work surprisingly well, although they usually take hours of banging heads until they suddenly decide to play, and then mysteriously stop cooperating.
Brought the powernode home, plugged it into the switch, speakers and power, and watched the lights cycle as it booted.
Spotted by the desktop app immediately, which offered to update the firmware, which as per the node was surprisingly quick and pain free.
Then tried music and services, I have lot of 192K FLAC on a NAS, plus I use A LOT of services - (Spotify, SiriusXM, Tidal, Amazon Hi Res, Radio Paradise Hi Res, Qobuz, Tunein stations), paired the players into a group and jumped about the services, no errors, no stutters, no drop outs, it just worked.
So thanks again, I was impressed with one device, I'm even more with two.

Much appreciated! I've passed your kind words on to the BluOS Dev team as well because - well, it takes a village.
With kind regards,
