WiFi not connected
Answered"WiFi connection required. Connect to a WiFi network using the Network Settings menu"
I am getting the above error message every time I open the Android app. I have not even configured anything yet. I am not using an up-to-date Android OS so it's not a recent security thing: v8.0.0
I do have my phone connected to Wifi and the internet, the BluOS app (v3.14.1) is allowed internet access and has all requested permissions (Location, turned on)
I have seen the other posts for this same topic, but my phone is wide awake and I am not using a captive portal. It doesn't even seem to get that far to check, the message appears almost straight away.

Hi Mike,
Please email support@bluesound.com with the make/model of your phone and mention that it is on Android 8.0.0 and they will look into it further.

Thanks I will, and for anyone else searching for this same issue, my phone model is a Samsung Galaxy S8, my wife's is a Samsung Galaxy A5. Both of which are on Android v8.0.0.
The software does work an LGG3 with LineageOS 18.1 on the same Wifi network
