    Hi Mike

The Buesound NODE will go into stand-by mode. Please consult your DAC manufacturer as to why it is not shutting down the DAC when a stand-by signal is sent. Also, consider using a 12v mono trigger cable.

It looks like this rather annoying feature has been carried forward from previous node models. Whilst there is indeed a low power standby mode of sorts which kicks in after 15 minutes of inactivity this has no effect on the status of digital outputs which continue to remain 'live' . Unfortunately, the only way to effectively mute the digital outputs is to invoke 'vacation mode'.

    Hi Tony,

Thanks for the quick response.  The issue is with the DAC as it is powered separately by USB and detects that 5v signal keeping it on, my error.  Thankfully it has a remote which allows me to put it in standby mode quite easily.  I am thoroughly enjoying the Bluesound Node and look forward to the continued support and future updates.
